Lesbian SFF Reading Challenge

Add some Sapphic Science Fiction and Fantasy to Your TBR

Welcome to YEAR ONE of the Lesbian SFF Reading Challenge. Yes, it’s the second to last day of January, and yes, we are still getting things set up, but it’s better to be late than to never do it! As I explained on my personal blog, I felt that many of the sapphic / lesbian reading challenges this year focused a lot on contemporary romance with many lesbian / sapphic spec fic authors feeling like they had to wedge themselves into categories that didn’t quite fit if they wanted their books to count and many lesbian / sapphic spec fic readers feeling like it would be impossible to win any of the challenges by just sticking to their preferred genre.

I’ve decided to do something about that and so, without further ado, the Lesbian SFF Reading Challenge, Year One! Submissions to have your books featured are still open, and we aren’t just limiting it to books you can find on Amazon. Itchio, Campfire, ScribbleHub, Kobo, and more are all included!

You can find a Canva Template for bingo cards here if you prefer to do it bingo style, but I’m still coming up with the rules and regulations, so things might change a little bit.

I definitely plan on doing physical and digital book giveaways at the end of the year to those who read (and reviewed!) sapphic / lesbian science fiction and fantasy books! Please see the FAQs for more information, including a full list of the categories / tropes! I’ll be sure to keep y’all updated.
